1997 Concluding Report of the Periodic Reporting Group
This is the Concluding Report of the 1997 Periodic Report Group (PRG) on Retirement Income Policy. The PRG was appointed in December 1996 to undertake the first review of the retirement income policy framework, as required every six years under the Retirement Income Act 1993. An Interim Report released in July presented our major findings. This report focuses on the action needed in the short term to build stability around the existing framework.
